Julia Tuchman

We usually listen to clinicians share their experiences, but what if we handed the mic to the patient?

In episode 234 of SYP, I have the privilege of talking with Julia Tuchman about her experience of living with dysphagia for the last three decades. Julia's diagnosis came years before the readily available resources, food options, and Facebook support groups that we know today. She was given a diagnosis and little else to help her find her way in a world that revolves around the food she could no longer have. Julia is the embodiment of perseverance and resourcefulness. Her book, Dysphagia Naturally, is evidence of her tenacity, strength, and relentless desire to help others with dysphagia.
